Information we do not collect
Accord Guard for Individual does not collect or transmit the contents of:
- Prompts
- AI conversations
- Uploaded documents
- Detected identifiers
- Replacement values
- Passwords or credentials
- Financial information
- Other sensitive content processed by the extension
Accounts
Accord Guard for Individual does not require an account, sign-in, or subscription.
Local storage
The extension may store these preferences locally in the user's browser:
- Whether protection is enabled
- Which categories of information the user chooses to protect
These preferences are not uploaded to an Accord account.
Advertising
Accord Guard for Individual does not display ads.
Sale of data
Accord does not sell user data.
Third parties
Accord Guard for Individual does not transfer user content to Accord servers or third-party analytics services as part of its local protection functionality.
Chrome permissions
The extension uses Chrome permissions only as required to provide its core functionality, including:
- Access to supported generative AI sites
- Chrome local storage for user preferences
- The Chrome side panel for protection controls and status
